Columbus, IN – Jim Clack, Ph.D., will become interim Head of the Division of Liberal Arts on July 1. Clack will replace Judy Spector, Ph.D., who is retiring after 32 years of service at IUPUC.

The placement is a two-year interim position. Clack will continue in his role as Head of the Division of Science. The two Divisions are not merging; they will continue to be separate and distinct as in the past.   

Clack is an associate professor of Biology and head of the Division of Science at IUPUC. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in neurobiology from Purdue University. He completed an National Institutes of Health Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Yale University School of Medicine.
