Science head presents at annual meeting

IUPUC faculty member Jim Clack, Ph.D., recently presented at the 44th annual meeting of the Cumberland Biological Transport Group.

The international meeting, co-sponsored by the American Physiological Society, welcomed professionals from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, France, Austria, the United Kingdom and Italy.

The meeting featured cell biology, physiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry presentations centered around the theme of biological transport. Clack’s presentation was titled “Transducin(g) the Light Fantastic: Variations on a Theme.”

The Lake Cumberland Biological Transport Meeting brings together principal investigators, post-doctoral fellows and graduate students to present published data or work in progress and receive feedback.

Clack is an associate professor of Biology and head of the Division of Science at IUPUC.
