The IUPUC Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is excited to offer two new financial aid opportunities for the 2009-2010 school year. Starting in the fall of 2009, IUPUC will offer the IUPUC Opportunity Scholarship and the IUPUC Study Abroad Scholarship.

The IUPUC Opportunity Scholarship is a competitive scholarship for students who have been laid off, let go, or had working hours or pay reduced. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must turn in a completed application by May 1 and provide documentation from their employer, Work-One, or other organizations approved by the Office of Scholarships at IUPUC. Recipients may receive up to $1,000.

The IUPUC Study Abroad Scholarship is a competitive scholarship for students who have been accepted into the Study Abroad program.  To be eligible for this scholarship, students must turn in a completed application by deadline and provide documentation from their advisor confirming their Study Abroad position.  Applications for this scholarship are due by May 1 for summer or fall consideration and September 1 for spring. Recipients may receive up to $1,000.

IUPUC offered more than $1,000,000 in scholarships for the 2009/2010 school year and awarded more than $320,000 to students.
