IUPUC to host health programs admissions talk

IUPUC will host an informational session about Indiana University health programs on Monday, Sept. 21. The session will be from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Columbus Learning Center Lecture Hall.

Representatives from the IU Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Informatics, and Nursing will be on hand to provide important admissions information and answer questions.

These schools offer degrees and coursework in areas such as dental hygiene, health information administration, nursing, radiography, medical imaging technology, nuclear medicine technology, radiation therapy, and respiratory therapy.

According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the following career fields are on the “Hoosier Hot Jobs” list: dental hygienist, registered nurse, respiratory therapist, and radiologic technologist and technician.
