CTL director serves as peer reviewer

Darrin Sorrells, Ph.D., Director of the Columbus Center for Teaching and Learning, recently served as a peer reviewer of selected papers submitted for proposed sessions at the 2010 Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Annual Conference to be held in April 2010 in Atlanta. 

The Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology is Division 14 of the American Psychological Association (APA) and an organizational affiliate of the Association for Psychological Science (APS). 

This marks the third time in his career that Sorrells has reviewed proposed sessions for the SIOP Annual Conference. 

In addition to serving as a peer reviewer for SIOP, Sorrells completed a three-year appointment in 2009 as a member of the SIOP Professional Contribution National Awards Committee.

Sorrells earned his M.Ed. in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1999 and earned his Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Northcentral University in 2004.  He will be teaching PSY-B 358: Introduction to Industrial/Organizational Psychology for IUPUC during the spring 2010 semester.
