IUPUC, Ivy Tech Community College-Columbus, and Purdue University College of Technology hosted a Career Fair on April 13 in the Columbus Learning Center. 

Students, alumni, area business leaders and community members attended. More than 40 employers hosted tables and talked to visitors about potential employment.

Employers who were represented included Atterbury Job Corps, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, Centerstone, Children, Inc., Cummins, Inc., Developmental Services, Inc., Dorel Juvenile Group, Edward Jones Investments, Elwood Staffing, Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, LLC, Indiana Bank & Trust Company, JCB, Vector Marketing, and Willow Crossing Health & Rehab.

Several free workshops were held, including 60-Second Elevator Speech, College Degree = Career Success, Dress for Success, Developing Interview Skills, and What Can You Do with This Major in.
