Science head presents at IU School of Medicine
IUPUC faculty member Jim Clack, Ph.D., recently presented at the inaugural Eugene & Marilyn Glick Vision and Research Symposium at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Clack’s presentation was titled, “Analysis of Transducin Beta Subunit Heterogeneity.”
Those in attendance included ophthalmologists, optometrists, ophthalmic and optometry technicians, ophthalmology residents, researchers, and medical students.
Speakers presented current information on the most important up-to-date topics in eye care. Lecture topics included ocular pharmacology, genetics, glaucoma and other eye diseases, age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, imaging technologies and methodologies, cellular and molecular mechanisms of ocular pathologies.
Clack is an associate professor of Biology and head of the Division of Science at IUPUC.
