IUPUC Faculty member presents at 54th annual meeting of ACUBE
Columbus, IN – IUPUC faculty member James Clack, Ph.D., was a presenter at the 54th Annual Meeting of the Association for College and University Biology Educators (ACUBE) at Lourdes College in Sylvania, Ohio.
Clack’s presentation was entitled, “Online and Hybrid Biology Courses: Pedagogy, Progress, Pitfalls, and Pointers.” He also served as an ex officio member of the Steering Committee, and convened the yearly meeting of the Editorial Board of Bioscene: The Journal of College Biology Teaching where he also serves as the editor.
The Association of College & University Biology Educators focuses on undergraduate and graduate biology education. Members of ACUBE share their ideas, concerns, and course innovations; present their work at the annual meeting; publish their work in Bioscene, a peer reviewed journal; and participate in the friendly collegiality of the organization.
Clack is an associate professor of Biology, head of the Division of Science and interim head of the Division of Liberal Arts at IUPUC.
