British journal to publish professor's article

The British business publication Journal of Sponsorship will publish a peer-reviewed article written by IUPUC faculty member Ryan Brewer.

The article, “Franchises, Value Drivers, and the Application of Valuation Analysis to Sport Sponsorship,” presents a theoretical framework that brand managers and sport franchise executives may find useful when attempting to measure the commercial investment value, or transaction value, of a sponsorship opportunity within the context of a particular sport property or sporting event.

The Journal of Sponsorship is the leading professional journal focusing on sponsorship and experiential marketing, for sponsors, rights holders and advisors alike. Featured articles focus on valuation and return on investment, emerging regulatory developments and associated implications, analysis of rights, and economic exploitation of technology. 

Brewer is a visiting assistant professor of finance for the IUPUC Division of Business.
