Nursing professor helps develop licensure exam
IUPUC faculty member Rebecca Bartlett, recently served as an Item Writer for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensure Examination.
All nurses in the United States must take the NCLEX. Passing the exam is one of the requirements necessary for attaining a nursing license.
Bartlett was one of only 12 nurses from across the nation selected to participate on the NCLEX item development panel of subject matter experts. She was nominated on the basis of clinical specialty and nursing expertise. Bartlett’s clinical specialty is cardiac and critical care with expertise in enteral nutrition in the critically ill.
Bartlett is a clinical assistant professor of nursing for the IU School of Nursing at IUPUC.
