IUPUC faculty member Gary Felsten, Ph.D., recently joined the Healthy Communities Council.

The council is the governing body of the Healthy Communities Initiative, which strives to improve the health and quality of life of all residents of Bartholomew County. Felsten has been involved with Healthy Communities for several years, serving as chairman of the Measurement Team, which assists the action teams in identifying important issues and evaluating effects of their work.

He also serves on the boards of directors of the Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation and the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives.

Felsten is an associate professor of psychology for the Division of Science.
