IUPUC student Japheth Phelps, of Hope, will serve as an intern for the Indiana House of Representatives from January through March.

Phelps, of Hope, will be working directly with an assigned group of state representatives, answering letters and e-mails from constituents, responding to specific legislative questions and problems posed by legislators and constituents, tracking bills through the legislative process, conducting research, and assisting with coverage of legislative committees.

Phelps is a sophomore political science major.
