Outstanding IUPUC students, faculty, and staff recognized at Honors Convocation
Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) students, faculty, and staff who have demonstrated superior academic performance or excellence in teaching and student service were recognized April 13.
The university’s Honors Convocation, held in the Columbus Learning Center, was followed by a reception for students, their parents and family members, and other guests, including a number of corporate representatives.
“Our students often have responsibilities beyond those related to their studies—many have part-time or full-time jobs and others are raising families. Yet they manage to balance these roles as students, spouses, parents, and employees to achieve high standards of academic excellence. We believe it is important celebrate the success of these accomplished individuals,” noted Dr. Marwan Wafa, vice chancellor and dean at IUPUC.
