Students, Faculty, and Staff Recognized at Annual Honors Convocation

Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) has recognized 41 students, seven faculty, and two staff members each demonstrating superior academic performance or excellence in teaching and service during the 2011-12 year.

The university’s annual Honors Convocation was held April 11 in the Columbus Learning Center. It was followed by a reception for those who were recognized, their guests, and a number of representatives from regional businesses.

“Celebrating the successes of these accomplished individuals is an important part of our university’s culture. We salute their scholarship, leadership, and service,” said Dr. Marwan Wafa, vice chancellor and dean.

Those who were recognized, along with the name of the award received, are listed below according to the city in which they live.
