Courses at Greensburg Learning Center Set to Begin Aug. 20

June 26, 2012

Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) will offer courses at the Greensburg Learning Center this fall.

“We are committed to making our courses flexible and convenient for busy students who have work or family responsibilities that make it challenging to commute to Columbus for classes,” explained Gary Felsten, associate dean for academic affairs at IUPUC.

Nearly 40 percent of IUPUC students are adults 25 years of age who live and work in southern Indiana. The majority have children and full-time jobs.

“The reality today is that most students must balance getting an education with earning a living and caring for children. To better serve students of all ages, we offer online, hybrid, and off-site courses in Greensburg as well as day and evening classes in Columbus,” Felsten added.

The first week of classes is August 20. Credit from these Indiana University courses will transfer to other colleges and universities around the state.
