Students who hold a bachelor’s degree in any field and who want to expand their career opportunities are invited to learn more about the part-time Indiana University Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC).

The Division of Business will host a free, informal session about the 24-month MBA program on Tuesday, February 26 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in CC Room 176.

"This affordable IU program is designed to meet the needs of working adults and other nontraditional students who have busy schedules," said Laura Lee Wetzel, associate director of the MBA program.

Wetzel noted that an MBA degree is a good choice for anyone who seeks career advancement and growth. In a challenging job market, earning an MBA can increase employment options in corporate, public, or nonprofit business sectors.

MBA graduates are found in accounting, finance, management, marketing, operations, quality control, sales and other functional areas. They work in areas as diverse as consumer products, advanced manufacturing, information technology, pharmaceuticals, and more.

Students take classes two nights each week and complete the degree in 24 months.

Content is organized into six integrated, thematic modules.

A multidisciplinary instructional approach drives program teaching and learning, fostering a high level of student engagement in and focus on cross-functional thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving.

Faculty from the Division of Business, as well as current students in the MBA program, will be on hand to network with attendees and answer questions about the program, curriculum, and entrance requirements.

IUPUC is located at 4601 Central Avenue near Columbus Regional Airport. Free visitor parking is available.
