Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) recognized 44 students, six faculty, and two staff members each demonstrating superior academic performance or excellence in teaching and service during the 2012-13 year.

The university’s annual Honors Convocation was held April 10 in the Columbus Learning Center. The event was followed by a reception for those to be recognized, their guests, and representatives from regional businesses.

“Celebrating the successes of these accomplished individuals is an important part of our university’s culture. We salute their scholarship, leadership, and service,” said Dr. Marwan Wafa, vice chancellor and dean.
