The Hungry Mile is a community service established to generate food donations for the local food banks. This annual event, sponsored by the IUPUC Alumni Association and Student Alumni Association, is held at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC).

After participants walk or run a mile, volunteers prepare and serve them a hardy breakfast. This year’s event generated an estimated donation of $750 in food products for the local Love Chapel. The excess breakfast
meals were delivered to Turning Point.
