IUPUC Nursing Students Attend Annual Indiana Associations Nursing Students Conference

February 12, 2015

Nursing students from the Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) attended the annual Indiana Associations Nursing Students Conference held in Indianapolis on Jan. 24th. The students attended an all-day conference with overnight accommodations from the assistance of a grant award from East Indiana Area Health Education Center (EI-AHEC).

The nursing students played an active role in the conference--attending every available session and participating in games where they won prizes such as, exercise bands, Kaplan Review and a tablet.

Carece Robbins was elected a state officer for 2015. In her role as Editor, she will represent IUPUC at monthly meetings held throughout the state.

“I was very proud of our students,” said Dr. Beth Sharer, head of the IU School of Nursing at IUPUC. “They represented our school very well--and made me proud to be a faculty member at IUPUC.”
