So You Have A Business Plan… Now What?
Closing the Gap Between Business Planning & Execution
Thursday, Apr. 17  //  9 a.m. to noon

Often organizational leaders come together to create plans and strategies for their company’s success. They dedicate an exorbitant amount of time and energy towards differentiating their product or service from the competition to gain market share and increase profits while expanding their shareholder’s value. Conversely, even when the best efforts are applied it is reported that up to 90 percent of these strategic executions fail.

Prevailing factors to organizational success include a well-designed and relevant strategy, plus a thorough plan of execution for that strategy. Although execution is often the toughest challenge, successful leaders should possess an ability to do both well.

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will know the correct processes related to:

  • Defining and differentiating strategy and strategic execution
  • Strategy execution management and the critical elements and processes necessary for success
  • Organizational alignment and the two phases involved
  • Properly utilizing their own organization’s strategic and business plan (vision, mission, strategic plan, initiatives, etc.) to work through the planning phase and the performing phase of organizational alignment.

The facilitator for this workshop, Cindy Allen-Stuckey, founder and Chief Strategy Execution Officer of Making Performance Matter, is passionate about empowering organizations to reach their fullest potential.

The singular cost for each workshop is $150. When three or more individuals from the same organization register, a 20 percent discount is applied.

The workshops will convene in Room 170 of the Arvin Center for Graduate Business and Executive Education at 4601Central Avenue in Columbus. The university also offers non-credit training delivered on-site within organizations.
