Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) has recognized 45 students, faculty, and staff members for superior academic achievement and excellence in teaching and service during the 2014–15 academic year.

They were presented with awards during the university’s annual Honors Convocation held April 13 at 6 p.m. in the Columbus Learning Center. The event was followed by a reception for those recognized, their family members and guests, and representatives from local businesses.

“Celebrating the successes of these accomplished individuals is an important part of the IUPUC culture, so we honor their scholarship, leadership, and service,” said Dr. Marwan Wafa, vice chancellor and dean.
