October 12, 2015

Juniors and seniors who are enrolled at any higher education institution—
as well as members of the general public who hold bachelor’s degrees in any discipline—are invited to attend free workshops about benefits of completing graduate-level professional degrees at IUPUC or other Indiana institutions.

The one-hour workshops, which are open to college juniors and seniors from any higher education institution and community members who hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution, will be held on these days and times:

  • Tuesday, October 13, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm
  • Thursday, October 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm

All workshops will be held in LC Room 1400 in the Columbus Learning Center. Visitor parking in front of the learning center is available at no charge.

Master’s, doctoral, and other professional degrees are required for those who seek executive positions in business and those who want to practice dentistry, law, medicine, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, psychology, veterinary medicine, and other fields.  Information about IUPUC’s Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and Master of Business Administration programs will also be provided to interested attendees.

  • Workshop attendees will learn more about:
  • Achieving career goals through graduate study
  • Finding the right graduate program
  • Understanding the application process, including writing a compelling personal statement
  • Preparing for appropriate entrance exams like the GRE, GMAT, MCAT, and others
