On Saturday, Oct. 8, Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) students represented their campus with pride and enthusiasm at the 2016 Ethnic Expo parade. In total, 45 students signed-up to participate. In addition to attending students, parade participants included several members of faculty and staff, and the IUPUC vice chancellor and dean, Dr. Reinhold Hill. Carol Kostrzewsky, associate director of career services, and with her husband Greg drove their 1940’s MG Roadster in the parade. Additionally, IUPUC students distributed over 30 pounds of candy to children watching the parade.

The dean of students, Dr. Sandra Miles shares, “IUPUC is a close-knit community and our students, faculty, and staff take every opportunity to come together. Whether we are celebrating the diversity of Columbus through participating in a parade or enjoying a world renowned guest speaker, we truly are campus that lives its values.”

IUPUC has a legacy of strength. Over the decades IUPUC has proven again and again that we have what it takes to change the world for the better.
