IUPUC is excited to announce Crimson Pride as its first official campus mascot.

“Crimson Pride highlights our connection with Indiana University and the importance of working together to achieve our goals, much as a pride of lions works together to care for and nurture its members,” said Dr. Reinhold Hill, Vice Chancellor and Dean.

The campus mascot was selected after students, staff, and faculty were surveyed during Homecoming Week in February. The survey consisted of eleven potential mascot choices – The C’s, Bears, Aviators, Owls, Foxes, Crimson Pride, Flyers, Turbos, Barnstormers, Kittens, and the Pride.

The campus will work with the illustrator responsible for developing the mascot images for other Indiana University campuses. This artwork will be completed by the end of the summer and released at the Big Red Blowout in August.

“We hope that through the launch of an official mascot that our campus can to continue to establish a regional identity within the Indiana University system that we are so proud to be a part of.”
