The IUPUC Commencement Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, May 12 at 5:30 p.m.

Here is everything graduates need to know about the commencement.

LOCATION:

The event is held in the Main Gymnasium at Columbus East High School (CEHS). The school is located at 230 South Marr Road, Columbus, Ind. 47201.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:

4:30 p.m. Graduates should arrive at CEHS and report to the auxiliary gymnasium for check-in. At check-in, graduates will receive detailed instructions and an identification card at their division check-in table.

5:05 p.m. Procession line will assemble in the auxiliary gym.

5:25 p.m. Graduates, faculty, and dignitaries begin procession into the main gymnasium.

5:30 p.m. Commencement Celebration will promptly begin. The ceremony will last approximately one and half hours.

Approximately 7:15 p.m. Families and friends are welcome to join graduates, faculty, and staff members in the auxiliary gymnasium to enjoy light refreshments immediately following the ceremony.

CAP & GOWN PICK UP:

Rented apparel will be delivered to IUPUC and will be distributed through academic divisions.

Pick up for apparel will be available on May 7, May 8 and May 9 from the locations and times listed below.

GOWN RETURN:

After commencement, graduates will return their used gown and your hood (if rented) in one of the deposit bins in the auxiliary gym at CEHS. Graduates keep cap, tassel, and stole of gratitude.
