IUPUC has named Libby Carlile the Employee of the Quarter for Q3, 2019. Libby graduated from IUPUC in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. While at IUPUC, Libby was heavily involved in student life, serving as Co-President of the Student Ambassador program, acting as a peer mentor, bridge mentor, and orientation leader, and working for both the Office of Recruitment and Admissions and the Office of Career Services

After graduation, Libby spent a little more than a year working for Elwood Staffing before coming back to IUPUC as an Admissions Counselor in the fall of 2017. Since that time, her role has evolved to Assistant Director of Admissions, Recruiting and Marketing where she focuses on creating and implementing marketing strategies that draw students to IUPUC.

“In all my time in admission, I have never worked with an employee with as much focus as Libby,” said Joe Heltzel, Director of Enrollment Management. “She always tackles new projects and opportunities with curiosity and a ‘can-do’ attitude.”

During the last nine months Libby has managed the onboarding and integration of several cutting-edge software platforms to enhance IUPUC’s recruiting efforts. “Onboarding just one of those platforms in a year would have been a huge task,” said Heltzel, “but Libby has managed to seamlessly integrate three platforms into our existing processes, and we are already seeing positive results.”

In addition, Libby is working with OCM to update all recruiting collateral, and with UITS to create a new subdomain and web presence for Admissions that will provide potential students with a more streamlined user experience.

When not at work, Libby enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and also decorating (her parents own Happy Nest in Columbus). Her secret indulgence? Streaming crime dramas on Hulu and Netflix.
