IUPUC to Host "Lead by Design: Inclusion Revealed" on Thursday, October 31, 2019
IUPUC’s Office for Women and the Center for Business and Economic Development will host Lead by Design: Inclusion Revealed on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 7:30 – 10 a.m. at the Mill Race Center in Columbus, Indiana. The event includes breakfast from 7:30 – 8 a.m., followed by a panel discussion featuring local business and education leaders who will discuss the differences between diversity and inclusion, community inclusion efforts, roadblocks, and best practices.
Sponsored by Innovate Indiana, along with several community businesses and organizations, this program is the second in the “Lead by Design” series, the first being Lead by Design: An Inspirational Initiative which was held in March. “With the success of our first event, we wanted to follow up with a deeper dive into the topic of inclusion as it relates to diversity,” said Melissa Fairbanks, director of the Center for Business and Economic Development at IUPUC.
