President Whitten visits IUPUC

Indiana University’s recently-installed 19th president, Pamela Whitten, visited the IUPUC campus on August 18, 2021. After a tour of the grounds, she spent time with the faculty, staff and students before heading to downtown Columbus to meet with city officials and tour the Republic Building.

 


IUPUI Chancellor Nasser Paydar, IU President Pamela Whitten, and IUPUC Vice Chancellor and Dean Reinhold Hill tour the Columbus Learning Center.

 
President Whitten met with the faculty and staff to discuss her vision for IU and answer questions.

 
Students provided President Whitten with insight into IUPUC from a their perspective.

 
President Whitten met with city leaders at Columbus City Hall.

 
Across the street from City Hall, President Whitten toured the Republic Building, 
home of the J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program.

 
Back on campus, the day ended with a reception that brought together city, community, and education leaders.
