IUPUC is seeking additional sponsors for its Bicycle Boogie bike ride and fundraiser planned for Sept. 30, 2023, which benefits scholarships for area college students.

Sponsorships range from $250 to $2,500 and include complimentary event registration(s) and publicity. Individuals and organizations interested in sponsoring the Boogie should go to iupuc.edu/giving/bicycle-boogie.

The Bicycle Boogie starts and ends at the Upland Pump House in downtown Columbus. Three routes are available at 13.5, 33 or 48 miles, including water stations and pre-event coffee, fruit and snacks. Well-marked trails take cyclists though the Columbus People Trail and surrounding areas, with the 48-mile route exploring the rolling hills of Brown County with a stop at the Story Inn.

The event is $30 for early registration and $35 the day of the event (children 12 and under are free). The Bicycle Boogie is an IU Alumni Association South Central Region event, and all proceeds benefit the IUPUC Alumni Association Scholarship.
